Designed for beginning level digital photographers. This workshop will teach students how to become fluent with digital SLRs cameras (controls, options and custom functions, etc). We will also discuss composition and light, shutter speed and aperture with the creative controls (Program AE, Aperture and Shutter Priority). This workshops will contain “practical” hands-on sessions in order to enhance the learning process. The goal is for students to learn to use digital cameras with predictable and repeatable results, and to begin to communicate with photography instead of just taking snapshots. Students will be provided advanced digital cameras and accessories to use during the week. Through in the field, classroom lecture and critiques, this workshop will challenge and inspire students to take their photography to the next level. At the end of the course, students will take home a electronic copy of their images taken during the workshop.
